Order faster and sell more — on kiosks and tablets.
Straight answers.
How is Order Buddy different from a full POS suite?
We focus on what kiosks do best — self-service ordering, payments, and remote menu control. No forced bundle of KDS, calling screens, or legacy registers. Pair with your existing kitchen workflow via printing and Audivra platform sync.
What hardware do I need, and what sizes are available?
Pick the format that fits your space: a 21.5" floor-standing kiosk, a 15.6" countertop kiosk, or a 10.1" order tablet. Larger kiosk screens and other tablet sizes are available on request. Order Buddy runs on Windows touch terminals, Samsung Tizen displays, and Android tablets — plus a Stripe Terminal reader and optional receipt/kitchen printers. You can also bring your own terminals. Most locations pair their first device in under 15 minutes.
Do kiosks really increase order size?
Industry data consistently shows larger average tickets with self-order — guests add modifiers and extras when the UI prompts them, without feeling rushed. Photo menus and upsell screens are built into Order Buddy.
How do payments work?
On kiosks, Stripe Terminal runs through a local payment bridge on the POS — card secrets never touch the kiosk browser. Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Interac, contactless wallets, and pay-at-counter are supported. Order tablets are pay-at-counter: guests build the order and your team collects payment at the till.
Can I manage menus across locations?
Yes. Kiosk Admin supports remote menu edits, device pairing, branding, and analytics. Import menus from JSON or delivery URLs to launch faster.
Is it bilingual for Quebec?
English and French are native — welcome screens, categories, modifiers, and checkout. CAD pricing and Quebec tax handling are supported.
How does the savings estimate work?
The calculator uses your orders, average ticket, and a conservative 12% ticket lift by default — below the industry “up to 30%” ceiling. Labour savings assume a few minutes off each counter order. Results are illustrative, not a guarantee; a demo walks through the numbers for your menu and floor plan.
